Ourselves, our Family, and All We Possess
O Immaculate Heart of Mary, Mother of God and my most loving Mother, I consecrate myself and my entire family to thy maternal Heart. To thee we entrust our souls and bodies, hearts and minds, homes and possessions, all that we have and are, together with our work, vocations, property, and every duty and opportunity given to us by God. We place in thy care our present and future callings, our children and their vocations, their future spouses and families, and all who are called to serve thy Divine Son. May every aspect of our lives possess that tranquility of order - according to the Will of God, through thy most powerful intercession.
Dearest Mother, cover us with thy virginal mantle. Guard us against the snares of the evil one, against every curse, malice, and deceit of Satan. Crush beneath thy feet all demonic powers that seek to harm or disturb us. Intercede for us before the throne of thy Divine Son, that His Precious Blood and the tears thou hast shed for Him may shield and sanctify us.
Guide and provide for us, granting joy and happiness in this life and in eternity. Increase in us the virtues of faith, hope, and charity - indeed, all the virtues - deepen our holiness, and strengthen our love for God in every thought, word and deed. May our example silently preach Christ to all whose paths we cross, drawing them to Him through the witness of our lives. Grant that thy Immaculate Heart may reign in our hearts, homes, and families. O Refuge of Sinners and Terror of Demons, protect us, our loved ones, and all our labors from every evil influence. Let the peace and purity of the Hearts of Jesus and Mary dwell within our souls and homes, preserving us from sin, misfortune, and spiritual harm, and obtain for us the grace of holy perseverance.
Assist us to live always in the state of sanctifying grace, in fidelity to the teachings of Holy Mother Church, and in union with the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Through thy Immaculate Heart, we renew our Baptismal promises - renouncing Satan, his pomps, and his works - and give ourselves entirely to Jesus Christ through thee, His Most Holy Mother.
We entrust ourselves also to the protection of thy most chaste spouse. Most faithful Saint Joseph, through thy fatherly intercession and care for the Holy Family, implore thy Divine Son to shield and guide us, and to present our needs before His Sacred Heart. Grant that the bonds of our family be strengthened in love, fidelity, and mutual service; may they never weaken nor decay, but ever remain a steadfast witness to Christ within our home and throughout our lives.
Graciously receive this Act of Consecration, and vouchsafe to fashion us into saints - faithful instruments of thy triumph over Satan. May our lives be spent for the greater glory of God, in honor of thee, for the conversion of sinners, and for the relief of the Suffering Souls in Purgatory. Amen.
